I started photography as a hobby, something which would break the monotony of my 9-5 job. I never imagined it would one day evolve into something more.
It sure feels like I haven’t posted on my blog forever, it’s just been crazy hectic lately. These past few weeks have been busy, but quite productive. Not too long ago, I was approached by an app developer who wanted to license one of my photos to use as a background for an app that they are developing. It was a first for me so I wanted to make sure I provide them the best processed photo. I’ve also been receiving orders for prints of various photos from the gallery. If you have time, please do check it out.
In the meantime, please enjoy today’s Black & White Friday. This is a black and white photo of the Cape Cod Lighthouse in North Truro, MA. It was mainly processed with the use of the new Topaz B&W Effects 2.1 which is currently offered at 30% discount from Topaz, just use the promo code bw21. You can get it here.
I remember standing in the middle of the field, just admiring the lighthouse. I took a few shots of it, but this is my favorite, taken from a low vantage point, so yes, I was literally on my knees when I took this shot. Notice the thick clouds? The rain started pouring just as I was walking towards the car, thank God the camera didn’t get drenched, or I would not have been a happy camper.
Anyhow, happy weekend, everyone! Spring is here, enjoy the outdoors!
